ELITE DIVISION
1. Team
Indiana (1) - The top team in the league didn't have much competition in week 7 as they went right through all 3 opponents. With the upset loss by the Stallions, Indiana now has a strangle hold on the #1 overall seed. The two league powers will collide this week which could either tighten the race for the #1 seed, or wrap it up.
2. Stallions
(2) - Despite the upset loss versus Quick Strike, the Stallions remain in the second spot this week. Their 10-2 record, and top offense and defensive rankings is more than enough to keep them here. A game versus Indiana when the season resumes on March 2nd could finally crack the armor and allow the Stallions to break through.
3. Live Strong (3) - Sticking at #3 this week is a lean and mean Live Strong team that has the opportunity to make a statement March 2nd as they take on the Stallions. With lethal speed and a better understanding of the game, is this the week Live Strong takes it to the next level or will the Stallions all but lock up a #2 seed?
4. Quick Strike (5) - A consistent rise through the Power Rankings is a direct result of a mid season team revamp. Bringing in one of the best minds in the game in Sean Kennedy, and calling up "Big Bro" to take the reigns at QB, has allowed this team to start reaching their potential. There isn't a team in the league that will want to play them come playoff time. Can they continue their rise to the top?
March 2nd Schedules to be updated soon.
5. Venom (4) - Dropping one spot and falling fast is a Venom team that was recently challenging for the #2 spot in the rankings. With an spotty roster each week there's no consistency in their play which could lead to a tumble down the standings. At any moment however, their entire roster could show up and give them a chance in any game, but falling too far down would be a tough draw in the bracket.
6. Elites (6) - Remaining at #6 during a bye week, the Elites now have a second half of football that will tell the tale of their season. During the first half, the team found themselves and settled in. Now they have a chance to set their sights on a higher seed, and a playoff push.
7. Lost Boys (8) - The Lost Boys move up one spot this week with the help of a Wolf Pack loss against WAB. The Boys have had an up and down season this Winter, and at the half way point, have yet to come up with a win against an above .500 team. If their entire roster complete with the ever dangerous Marrio Poston can come together, they could make a run, but until that happens it will be a tough road.
8. WAB (9) - Could this be the best WAB team in years? The answer is yes. The boys in blue have quietly put together a .500 record, and with a marquee win against the Wolf Pack. At this rate, they're a serious contender for the D2 crown.
9. Kings (10) - A slow, but consistent rise from being out of the rankings to #9, is a Kings team that has enough talent to make some noise. They're understanding the way 4 on 4 football is played but they do get mixed up at times. They had a solid game versus the Stallions but then tied the one win Yinzers.
10. Wolf Pack (7) - One win in their last six games drops the Wolf Pack yet again this week. A very solid first quarter to their season had the league on alert, but somehow that consistency has fallen off and so has their chances for a favorable seeding thus far. They've proven they can play with the best of them, now the question is, can they prove it again?
